Now, what is it that I do, exactly?

I conceive, write, and design persuasive messaging strategies for advertising and marketing. I have built and managed numerous creative departments, ad agencies, and brand programs. I have written and produced dozens of web sites, over 500 TV spots, hundreds of print, radio, direct, and online campaigns for global, national and local clients. I have assisted companies define, transform, and express their brands, changing the brand names of many. And I wrote a best-selling book about how to persuade.

In the course of my career, I have helped my clients, in toto, make close to $70 billion in sales. But who's counting?


For which clients have I done it?

I’ve worked with giant clients with established brands and start-ups with absolutely no brands at all. I’ve worked on brand positions for companies as diverse as Lockheed, Hilton, Agilent, and McDonald’s. I’ve helped small brands, start-up brands and non-profits in every conceivable industry.
